Someone killed thrall, /sob. Also, check out the HP. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is socketed with +8 resil/+12stam gems. Current Stam: 1524.

Yeah, thats by ignoring any damage whatsoever.
Current tooltip DPS is 399.2, with 2304 AP. This could be way higher, if it wasnt so much focused on HP and resil. With nearly no defense, and ignoring any socketbonus whatsoever. That much HP should only be for tanks IMO. I think it\'d be better balanced around 17-18k. Too bad I don\'t have any gems atm

Notice how "big" MMO's(WoW,gw,eq2,l2,war,conan etc.) dont have crazy flashy skill animations, they keep it simple, which is good in a way I guess

It seems cartoonish, untill you actually start it up for the first time.

Got a good group together and just bowled through majority of the group quests in Nagrand. (think I only have Ring of Blood left to do) Swept through the Warmaul Stronghold, then through the Forge Quest chains. That was some of the most fun I have had in this game.

Melon wrote: I hear WOW is a bit too cartoonish? Copy paste from one of my old posts dom wrote: I've played both. I rather the 40 vs 40 AV BGs, ability to buy armor and items according to the honor you've earned, and much more competitive and stable arena system. /thread-hijack I just hit 70 less then a week ago too, I should of made a thread. I was cheering too much to take a screenshot when I hit 70, but I have one I took the day after. On the subject or wow and sro. I agree WoW is much slower, considering you can't leave a bot on 20 hours of the day to play for you. It normally takes a person ~200-250 hours to get to 70 on their first character. I wouldn't be surprised if 79-80 on SRO takes that alone. Not to mention, I lvled doing quests and instances, rather than grinding the same mobs for 600+ hours of /played time. It also makes me laugh when players pick on the graphics. WoW is very scalable, on a high end computer it looks amazing. Not to mention that the terrain is terraformed and has tons of objects that take up a lot of GFX resources - compare that to the endless open plains of SRO with a random hill and tree in the middle of no where. See pictures I googled below, maybe in a bit i'll get in game and take a picture of myself flying on a gryphon somewhere, hundreds of feet off the ground looking down on the massive world, that takes like 20 minutes to fly from north to south on 1 of 2 continents located in the 1 of 2 realms. Edit: here's some pictures I took flying over a zone in norther kalimdor - ill grab some more of other places in a second. Here are pictures flying over a zone in the expansion, note I run on 1680x1050, and I don't have grass or mobs to draw from extreme distances, yet it's still much more complex than SRO. Here are pictures of the capital city in the expansion, again, I don't have people or mobs to render from this altitude. Here's one of my interface. I used to have an extremely modded interface, but it's too difficult to use when you play on more than one PC, and public PCs. I'm a paladin, so I don't have that many skills on my interface, but my other characters have more. GG SRO fanboys that have never played WoW or have barely touched it, yet argue that SRO is better. WoW has 10,000,000 subscribers for a reason, without counting those that used to play or play on private servers.
