JC is a HUGE pain in the ass, do yourself a favor and ditch it ASAP. As soon as I get 70, I'm going to pick up LW on my hunter again. Believe me, anything but JC is fine. As for the mining, it all depends on what you want to do. Enchanting has become a profession you take to aid yourself and your guildies. There's no real money to be made anymore. Mining on the other hand is a great way to make money, and not that hard to level, since you can buy ores from the AH. Then again, you could also take herbalism, to aid the guild when it's riding time again. All up to you. Ive just dropped JC, and gone back to Tailoring. I've done herbs and the idea for me to do herbs in the first place was you I could help my ex with his Alchamey. Which never happened anyway. The money isn't all that important, and lvling mining or herbs is just gonna be really boring.. I've gone with enchanting. Gonna farm up Deadmines a few time
Go herbing instead of tailoring, more money and you can get potions made with what you find. Herbalism is much easier to raise than enchanting btw. Took me about 3 weeks to get my last 5-10 points in enchanting. Plus tailoring+enchanting is a huge money sink. I have about 80g atm, no epic flying mount and I owe my roommate about 800g. Thank god for new quests in the patch so I don't have to grind for gold.

Top money makers are enchanting, well used to be.
But to guarantee a reliable source of income, skinning and mining FTW.

It's still possible to make money with enchanting, but you almost have to look at is as a gathering profession. I did make money on the last 10-15 points to 375 though (the ones that I didn't do for my own gear that is). Spam in trade "3xx enchanter looking for work, doing the following enchantings blah yellow or orange enchants here blah, bring your own mats, tips appreciated." For the enchants I did for others I prolly made 50-100g without spending any of my own money on mats.
I got my fingers crossed for Mongoose to drop tonight though, 400g+bring your own mats to the only person on server that can do it Alliance side. Big money big money come on!

Hmm I was herbs, b4 I dropped for JC and mining. I still always bought pots on the AH :-/ Could never find some1 to make them when I needed them.. I wanted to do somin different (yeah ive done enchanting on warrior and lock) but it would be more pratical to do it on my priest as it is my main character. I done 2 DM runs this morning disenchanted all the greens and blues and kept all the cloth.. Made green items from tailoring and disenchanted them
I wish I never dropped Tailoring I looked at some of the gear that I could be making if I carried it on. But it won't take me long to get it lvled

Jewelcrafting is a big waste of money imo..
Costed me from level 275 to level 300 around 350g..
And for what? Gems that sell for 2g each in AH, and listing them costs 60s..
I just feel bad dropping it now after all the waste of money.

Wait till you hit the high levels of tailoring lol. Ive bought all the mats and spent 2000+ gold, it could be cheaper if you farm though.

LOL
So the bubble doesn't provide any air resistance at all? Hmm.. well roll a mage and fall all you want.
I did that a few times but only because I was thinking I'm at the Scryer side.

Sheild doesn't do anything when you are falling. Don't have any light feathers (checked on the AH today and they are selling 10g for a stack of 10) and it doesn't help being mounted when falling Ive lost count how many times ive fallen off there.

Bastet wrote: LOL look at the shadow priest being 2nd on the Damage metre
thats why priests damage got nerfed on the today patch
anyway warlock is top dps in any heroic and raids
also the best gold making is mining and herbalism
enchant is the most expensive thing to lvl and not a single crafted item can sell fo more than the mats u need to make
if u want to make money get mining cuz 4 profession need the ores
skinning is nice too
but first is mining than herbalism

Real mages don't need feathers to make long jumps. l2blink
A well gear mage can out dps warlocks, but as soon as the warlock gets close to the same amount of +damage, it's game over for mage on top.

Basically. I was making pretty good money buying 66+ blues that were under 10g to sell the shards.

I don't want to do Enchanting to make gold on, I have enough gold. Plenty to buy my flying mount (none epic) and have some left over. I think having enchanting will benefit my priest far more then having any other profession. I want to do Tailoring because I was before tbc and I dropped it to do JC (worse mistake ever) I've looked at some of the gear I could be making, so I decided to go back to Tailoring.
On the SS at the top was a mage, I think 6th was a warlock (Dessparado) 7th was a Warrior (Kathel), not sure on the other classes.
Aldor Rise is so annoying, i've probably fallen 5/6 times I must get some light feathers, maybe I could try dismounting and then levitate
