With the 3.1 patch and Ulduar - I am seeing more critical strike on many gear items. Specifically the new Phalia's vestments ( in honor of a resto tree) , as well as many other items. In addition, the changes to the resto druid: huge nerf in spirit/ mana regen, changes in life bloom, critical effect of regrowth, and hearing more about 'lifebloom' crits - is the old formula for the resto druid still valid?

Generally: Spell power/ spirit / int / haste?

Now is it: Spell power, intellect, mp5, spirit, critical strike, haste?

Or: Spell power, mp5, spirit, critical strike, haste? Or.....

I can not find updated information about how the resto druid can be most efficient now?

The resto druid was built on Spirit - that was the Druid thing. Now after being at least cut in half (after considering all the changes) - so nerfed, do we go for MP5 for staying power? What are we about now? It is amazing how little spirit there is on equipment items.

Do we need more intellect and critical strike to make the nerfed healing more effective with regrowth, the living seed, and what about the 3% of crit in natural perfection? What is the cap for critical strike - can't find any information.

Please blizzard you chopped us down .... what is the formula now that will make our tree thrive, or is there one? Did Blizz think that far or just thought trees were to 'OP', gotta chop em down.
Updated and effective information would be appreciated:

To much confusing and outdated information out there (probably so for several classes).

i got this from the WoW forums and since im a nubby and dont know where to properly look for helpm im turning to you all ... so is this news true?

Don't take anything seriously you read on the world of warcraft forums. It's only whines about a certain class being overpowered and people whining about how their class is doomed.

Though, you should take this comment in stride as well... there is a lot of good information on the WoW forums. I would suggest just reading around a bit on the main class forums, and read up on the classes on wowwiki as well. Then make a decision based on what you think you will be happiest playing. xP

Read the comments, generally in good topics the comments are discussion, in bad ones it's all flame (which are also worth reading)...

I was browsing the Mage and Warrior forums after I saw this thread, good read indeed.
