I love watching Spartcus, the fights are good as watching 300 or Troy.

How can a battle that took place in 480BC between the combined armies of the Greek City States and the Persian Empire have ANYTHING...to do with a Slave revolt in 11BC Roman Empire?

I thought the first episode was boring, but I suppose that's with a lot of series. I've only seen the first 2 episodes, and I liked episode 2 better. You'll be reminded of 300 a bunch of times, and imho, they overdid it with the bloodsplattering, but it's neat enough.

Well I don't really see how you could argue that this is realistic, of course it's not. Blood flying around like it's a Quentin Tarantino movie with chopped of limbs all over the place. It's obviously not too realistic. I think it's pretty entertaining, don't take it too serious and you probably will as well.
