I especially love the music. Makes me think of Triplets of Belleville. But here's me on MSN while watching this the first time:
The sound effect at the part where the thing happens is pretty brutal.
As for the .gif, I used super screen recorder, quicktime, paint.NET, and UnFREEz. It was a long and tedious process and definitely could have been done much more easily by someone with the right software and knowhow. Basically I played the flash, captured it to avi, then used Quicktime to printscreen/paste frame-by-frame the part I wanted into paint.NET, which resulted in a 49-layer 1280x1040 project file that made my computer less than happy with me. I saved each layer one by one as a gif and then stuck them into UnFREEz in varying orders until I got what I wanted. The gif is *not* exactly what you see in the flash, but it's pretty darn close, and it loops smoothly (which the flash was not designed for).
Oh and I made her watch it anyway.
