It's okay, I like it.
HULU.comI don't think Michael was a spy though. He was a cell phone salesman; it's too obvious. If he needs to do some witness protection? His mom's garage, a cell phone and a photoelectric garage light is all he needs. Undercover surveillance? No problem, you got a cellphone, right? Who needs a wiretap? Just switch their cellphone with yours. Want a remote detonator to blow up a car or a warehouse? Styrofoam, gasoline and you guessed it, a cellphone.
Burn Notice is fairly interesting though - what other show about a cellphone salesman with delusions of grandeur lets their main star McGuyver cellphones into anything his rabid imagination can command? How much does that guy weigh? Watching him fight (and win) stretches the imagination too. Oh, how did his girlfriend dropped her Irish accent? And are we expected to believe that his sidekick is a stud on 'little blue pills' who does
things for women? You can't blame "Michael" though - it's the writers that make me laugh.
Burn Notice is cheaper than a lobotomy. If there is a single episode in the new season that doesn't focus on cellphones, I'll be surprised. On the other hand, if the show is canceled at least the writers will have something to fall back on.
