One of the main things I liked about Game of Thrones was how realistic and believable it was, excluding the dragons and whatever is behind the wall.
I just hope that this doesn't turn into a generic supernatural story and by the end of the season King's Landing is being invaded by vampires, dragons, demons, etc.
Arya is my favorite character. I hope everything works out fine for her.

Fantasy slowly creeps into the story but not to the point of high fantasy similar to LOTR. So far in the fifth book, the story remains to keep itself in the far edges of the genre, still holding onto exercises on politics and warfare.
Glad to hear that. I find the setting, the politics, and the various character interactions to be the most enjoyable parts of the story.

welcome back o.o
Not really back though. The idea to visit this place once more crossed my mind at work in an incredibly boring meeting.. Currently traveling by train, which also counts.
So how about you, what happened to deleting your account and forgetting all about SRF?
i really really REALLY hope Sam dies... It would just piss me off if he lived for some reason
Spoiler!
Aw no. I like the guy. At first I thought they would walk past him, as they didn't deem him a threat or anything. Felt so bad for him, now he has to sit there until next frigging April when the next season finally begins.

Overall I liked the first season better. The second wasn't bad, but it got a little dull in the middle, only to pick up at the final episodes. Surprised to say Tyrion was one of my favourite characters this season, as I didn't like him at all in the first. Jaqen H'gar was my favourite, though. I haven't read the books but I hope he returns. Sansa annoys the hell out of me. She should have left with Sandor.
I hope it'll take Brienne and Jaime a bunch of episodes before they arrive in Winterfell. This could be a goldmine for giggles.

On second thought i think Sam will live. You guys remember in the first episode that 1 guy got a chance to run away, the whitewalkers didnt kill him for some reason.

I don't get why people keep saying Sansa should've left with Clegane. I know her situation is bad but going on the run with a psychotic alcoholic mad man who has clearly expressed a romantic interest in her which she will never be able to, nor should she, reciprocate, is not a good idea. He will be stressed and horny and angry and drunk. She will be useless, annoying, spoiled, and vulnerable.
Again i realize Joffrey is a sociopath and staying anywhere near him is not a good option but they still need her alive. She's one of the rightful heiresses to The North and as far as they know they can still trade her life for Jaimes. Sandor does not need her alive and would eventually give her up for money if needed. I think she show has done a pretty good job of showing that when push comes to shove The Hound does not give a **** about anyone but himself. And going on the run with a needed captive is just asking for everything to be push come to shove.

SPOILER ALERT little spoilers not 2much so dont read if u dont want to..
yeah im a big fan of the show:) watched 2seasons already waiting for the 3rd one to come out in 2weeks;P but yeah GREAT show kinda sad that they make so little episodes per seasons.. given that first 2seasons were containing infos from first 2books of the series.. but yeah i heard some rumors that for the 3rd season they will extend the amount of episodes, or make 2season for the 3rd book since it contains so much changes and so much information. but overall great show:) BTW read the books 2. way more in depth into characters etc:)

I think it's alright, any more and they would have these stupid mid season finales. Top Gear only has SEVEN episodes/season.
I was inspired by you two and started watching the second season again today and noticed something i found funny/sad.
Spoiler!
The boat Captains daughter from the ship that was taking Theon to the Iron Islands was telling him to take her with him because her father would think her a whore if she stayed, after she was banged by Theon. He didn't take her and then later in another episode she was with the Grand Meister(the old long bearded man) when Terion went to confront him about telling his sister of the plans he made to have his niece marry some guys family, I forgot who. Then in the proceeding episode she was being flogged by the whore who left Winterfell in season one because she was told to do so by King Geoffery after his uncle had sent them so he could "get some of the poison out". I thought that shit was hilarious and I never noticed it when I watched the episodes for the first time.
Sorry if I misspelled the names, I don't know how to spell most of them.
