hallucination counts as "see"?

no it doesnt.
seeing is when light reflects off of something and your eye catches that image. a hallucination is when your brain activates the the portion of you brain that dreams. big difference.

No, hallucinations occur while you are awake. hallucination =/= dreams, nor in the area that dreams. Hallucinations can be caused by any sensory area of the brain.. you can hallucinate and feel bugs crawling on you, or hallucinate and see AND feel the bugs. Or smell them..etc

NS, I know there are no ghosts in the same way that I know there are no pink flying unicorns, or square circles, or taco bells at the bottom of the ocean. There is no reason for me to believe these things exist in the same way there is no reason to believe ghosts exist.

Until evidence is put forward, ghosts don't exist.

This cannot be proven or dis-proven. I'm not gonna say NS is lying and I'm not gonna say he is being truthful because I(and every single one of you here)do not have the means to finding the evidence. This might as well be another religion thread where the faithful try to force the existence of their personal deity onto atheists and the atheists try to force the belief that no deity exists down the throats of the faithful. One cannot be so arrogant as to say they know that something is this way for sure unless concrete evidence has been presented. It's illogical and unscientific.

If we want to argue semantics, several of us above should have said: "Based on the evidence (none), there is no reason to believe in ghosts, no reason at all."

Lack of evidence is not proof of existence. I can come up with infinite+1 things that you can say "you don't have evidence they don't exist!!!2131!" See where most of us, the rational ones, are coming from?

It's not rational, it's arrogant. The only thing that makes any argument correct and sound is the existence of evidence. Seeing as neither side have this at their disposal it is simply much more practical to say "I don't know". Your belief is based entirely on assumptions. As you have said, lack of evidence is not proof of non existence. I must say EvGa I rather enjoy arguments with you, you make me think.
