They will sit the third book into two seasons i think, so they can take it slow.

I would read the books but then watching the show sucks cause everything is so different >.< (usually, tho i have heard this series is very similar to he actual books.)

It's actually supposed to have a lot more seasons than that. At least that's what the producers/directors are projecting.

Yep, a while ago I heard that George R.R. Martin told the producers/writers of the show how the plot lines were supposed to go in case he didn't get to finish writing the books. The show is the number one show on at the moment so it will most likely be on for a very long time.

I just finished the "red wedding" chapters a few days ago and I believe that this season will end there. It is a perfect cliffhanger ending.

I remember seeing this promo with the song "Rains of Castamere" playing on it before the season starter and since that is the song that is playing when the shit hits the fan, it seems like where the writers/directors are leading the season to end.

That Tywin and mother Tyrell scene was pretty good, not much else to say about this episode :\ The ending was super cheesy.
