Same thing. Murder, if you intentionally killed someone. i.e. Shot them in the face knowing damn straight you wanted to do that. Whereas manslaughter could be drink driving, and you crash and kill your friends. I don't know exactly how to explain manslaughter, I know it's unintentional or accidental.
