Inside joke:

They should have had Deadpool mutter something like "No pickles".

Kidding aside, the Deadpool in the movie doesn't match any of his appearances in the comics, just bits and pieces. Plus with Cable/Deadpool, Marvel went a little crazy with timelines...maybe that's just me, the later Marvel comics like X-Force/X-men seemed a little off (by later, I mean after the late 80's).

It also made me wonder why I didn't see Stan Lee in this movie, even without a line. Did I miss him somewhere?

Movie was ok, nothing to write home about.

wow....that was awful. The whole movie felt like it had just been slapped together with random people just so they could throw in more special effects. I still don't understand why they killed the guy who controlled electrical things, i mean they lied about everyone else they killed the one time they ACTUAL kill someone it just seems a bit off....

it felt a bit like X-3 to me. Just throwing out mutants for mutant sake with the base plot line being something most people where familiar with. As i was watching it i couldn't get sucked into the story because it just kept shifting every five seconds and by the time i was done i realized that i didn't feel sympathy or anger or happiness for any of the characters. I felt mostly annoyed by the various plotholes and unexplained actions....like how was wade able to survive DNA manipulation to absorb the powers of other mutants, and why wade anyway....i know those are geek questions but i mean things like that were all over the place and i just couldn't get into it.

5/10 if it was on TV i'd watch it if nothing good was on...

Thanks Xem. I think I'll just wait for the dvd :)

Now that I think about it, I also don't remember him having a cameo in the movie.

Strange. :S

I was really disappointed special effect wise. Where he's in the bathroom looking at his claws, it looks like something a kid rendered lol. They look so crappy. I dunno, I'm just really surprised. Gambit's special effects were well done. And yeah, I think it was really dumb how they did Deadpool. Sigh. Just glad some good movies are still coming this summer.

 I did it on purpose. Because everyone hates me mentioning Australia; so not I do it purposely.

I can see how the movie would be good if you only went to see an "action movie". It would not be good if you went to see a movie about the origin of Wolverine. Ryan Richards did well at the beginning. All they had to do to make a perfect Deadpool was put the suit on him and allow him to speak, but noooo they had to give him random superpowers that he never had. I feel like Marvel needs to reconsider hiring directors that obviously never read the comic books. I'm still annoyed from when they messed up on Venom.

anyone else find sabertooth alot easier to watch on screen than wolverine. I dunno if it was his lines or just good acting but his character seemed alot more realized to me. Made me kinda wish the movie was about him....

Then again, I always remembered Sabertooth with a full head of hair too and his eyes never really had pupils...but Liv Schreiber (sp) did a great job of acting. Better than Hugh Jackman, IMHO...perhaps the writing and his lines just weren't that great.

Hardly an action movie. It was Wolverine screaming most of the time.
