And for the record i love my cat. I don't expect much from her and she doesn't from me but there's alot of silent love there that we don't have to express which really just makes it more solid.

was kinda hoping on advice to get her to start eating again. Cats can get depressed sometimes like people but its hard to tell cause they can't talk and stuff so you just have to pay close attention.
Ok. So, first off for fleas ONLY buy Advantage and use that. That's a de-flea and I think de-worming medication, you may need to get it from a vet. You can probably get it from the Humane Society for cheaper. Also, google luv my pet, it's a low cost vet that has clinics usually in Petsmart. They normally do shots, but they might give her an evaluation if you need one. Second, stop bathing your cat, she hates it and it's stressing her out more. The advantage will kill the fleas and hopefully keep them off her. MAKE your friend put it on his cat. I know money is tight, but you really should have a bug service come and spray the house.

Also, are you sure it's fleas and not mange? If the other cat has mange that's a HUGE problem. Is it missing fur? Does it's skin show in areas? See a vet ASAP if you suspect this. Your cat will need medical attention if it's come in contact with it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mange

Now about the eating - your cat is obviously stressed the hell out. You have probably made it worse by bathing her because she thinks she's done something wrong. You're going to need to keep her separate from the other cat as much as possible, make her area as comfortable as possible, put a blanket or something that smells like you near the area she likes, and give her some extra attention until she gets adjusted. This is obviously a big change from her previous living conditions, so she's going to be a stressed for a while.

But definitely see a vet. I'm sorry about your kitty. I would be so upset in your position and I hope you get it worked out.

**EDIT** The more I think about it the more I think you should beat your friends ass and make him clean up his trashy ass apartment and his poor disgusting cat.

fairly certain its not mange. The other cat however disgusting is fat and full of fur and doesn't seem to mind any of this. I was looking online and they all say the same thing about flea stuff, the stuff you get at the normal stores never work. I'll stop bathing my cat though cause i think you're right, she probably does think she did something wrong when she didn't. I'll try to give her more attention which should be easy since i just lost my job today -_-, hopefully i'll get another one soon and get her to the vet and i'll look up this "Humane Society" thanks, this was most helpful...

Do you live in the US? http://www.hsus.org, I believe they should have a locator on their site. If not, your city should have animal services, and you can ask them about buying low cost vet products. Anytime anything happens to one of my cats I make sure to bust out the cat nip, never a bad idea really, they seem to love it. If she's scratched hard enough to make herself bleed you're still really better off taking her to a vet. Also, make sure she's drinking enough fluids. Cats can dehydrate easily and then you could be facing urinary tract infections (or severe dehydration will cause organ failure).

EDIT: clinic locator for luv my pet:

Sorry you lost your job...that's not good.

Back when I was at home my mum bought a cheap door mat from some gypsy's who came to our door selling rugs.
Anyway after a while we noticed fleas they were making our cat go crazy and she was bleeding a bit as well.
Well what my mum did was by some feline bath flea killer stuff she washed the cat twice a day everyday for a while and also bought some flea power stuff for the carpet and vaccumed very often.
