Enjoy not playing games

Correction, enjoy making someone money for something that is not of quality and as useful ( we could also cheer for your awesome attitude regarding not spending a couple of hours building, getting a good product, and having 1 more skill under your belt ).

edit: if you still refuse to build buy this:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/CyberPower-GXI105/14089718

has all you need for what you are willing to invest ( this blows the bones out of what you presented to us but do know that it requires a separate gpu which is about 150 bucks more ).

you don't need to know anything, the parts only fit one way and there are a ton of 10 minute youtube vidoes that show you how to do it, is as simple as that ( referring to watching a 10 minute video and executing ).

the i3 wasnt even close to the i5s or the i7s

The i3 is at most generally speaking 5-6~ fps away from the i7, this for less than half the price, when you also take into consideration that the processor is maxing just about every games ( 60+ fps ) just like the other options and blah blah blah, yes I do feel comfortable spouting out the statement I did because in the real world you wouldn't get a drop more from the other 2 ( not accounting for overcloking that is not needed on any of the 3 couse they all max most titles with ease ).

Did I mention price ? 120-140.

yeah if you are comparing the worst i5's and i7's to the best i3, the best i5's and i7's blow it out of the water except for crisis warhead which is a 5fps difference, so no a i3 is not a mirror image of an i7.

At this point you are disputing with me that your car goes at a billion and 1 w/e and mine goes at a billion and yours outclasses mine for w/e reason and is feasible to recommend anyone to pay even a cent more for yours and that also when I claim that I have a car in the realm of yours I am a lying and w/e attention my advice deserved should be averted, ya ...

The "best" i3 costs 140 bucks on newegg and the cheapest i5 goes for ~200 ( don't want to look into renames atm ), that is a very much significant difference between the 2 for a nonexisting difference in performance outside technicality. Having said all that I am sure I will grant you this one considering that most people including yourself aren't familiar with the value and real performance of all these parts and when asked for advice I should respond pay at least 25% more and get NOTHING to account for it, so ya nj man, guess all your coming back at me had a valid reason after all.

and i never brought up anything about the prices between the i3, i5, or i7, i was simply responding to your claim that an i3 mirrors an i7 performance wise. which i still don't know why you are clinging onto "nonexisting differences in performance" even when the benchmarks you provided prove otherwise.

I suggest getting a desktop, but for $800, I could understand buying this.

This.

I experienced it by myself aswell. My laptop is way worse than my desktop even if it suppose to be better. I'm still using my 3 years old PC for gaming instead of my 6 months old laptop. I'm just using my notebook for making notes, working and studying. It is useful for the University, but that's all.

Soo can any mother board, power supply, etc. fit in any computer case. Or are there different sizes for all?

There are different sizes like ATX, micro atx and others.

Most of the time you'll be going for ATX.

Yes most components will fit nicely in mid size cases.

How do you tell?

You can read it in the specifications but most cases support the most common mobos ( ATX is the most common type and is what you should be looking into ) and there will be essentially plenty of room for everything else, your only real concern should be gpu ( component size wise ) and since you are not buying the very high end parts you are good, so just pick the coolest ( mid size ) case you can find with some decent ventilation in mind and run it by us and a forum like tom'shardware before your purchase and you should be set.

Best thing to do is try to find a Case/Motherboard Combo. That way you will know what the motherboard can handle and the case should be able to support it as well

your cpu is good

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115222

you are overpaying on mobo, i suggest you post on tom'shardware for someone nerdier than myself when it comes to this but you want something like:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813128425

for performance HDD this is where the money is at, you could also do F1s but I would go for BCs myself:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product

your power supply looks good/great but if you want more options see:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817341022

you are overpaying on ram easily, try :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820211409

your gpu looks good ( excellent value/performance, don't hesitate on it ) but you have room to upgrade to a 5850 ( I should probably say you have the option to ) which will take your system to a whole new level and have you at the top of the game for quite some time ( won't need to upgrade as soon ), your call on this.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product

leaving the case up to you since I'll just go for bling and airflow above anything else and that is not exactly the best way to do things ( but for me it is ! ).
