Black ones. OMG!!! Those are sooo nice. White gets dirty, but black means you get stuff done

White by a long shot here. I'll try not to impose personal prefence but those who voted black either have some special clothing to go along with that, can't think 5 seconds into the future, or simply have no fashion sense.

Personally, I consider those who follow fashion as complete tools, especially males. I wear what ever I want and what looks good.

Looking good, following fashion and having a sense of style are not necessarily related.

Fashion is the prevailing style, popular "standard" way of dressing that is considered up-to-date. It does not necessarily equal good-looking, or have a sense of style.

Sense of style is the ability to understand and combine different features so that they match; ie. are compatible and fit one's general appearance.
Fashion just offers a ready, generic style. Following fashion does not require sense of style. Actually I recon it's often those who don't have a sense of style that follow fashion.

Obviously, looking good is very subjective.

You are oh so wrong in many different ways, you speak as if you know the whole fashion industry, but you don't. If you think you need no sense of style in the Fashion world, than you'll fail hard in the Fashion world. If you want to be Fashionable, than picking the general style that everyone is wearing is the last thing you should do. You need to be creative to be Fashionable. I'm a Fashion student myself so i know what i'm talking about.

You just read what you want to read. I was speaking about following fashion. That obviously requires no creativity or sense of style.

However, based on your reply, I'm most inclined to expand the idea that all who follow fashion are tools, to include those who work or study fashion, too.

Personally I haven't been much of a fan of sporting shoes or "sneaker" styled shoes. So both of these shoes don't really appeal to me. But if I was to give you an unbiased opinion I would choose the black ones myself. Black is also much easier to fit with a variety of jean colors. My white converse always looked so silly with my blue skinnies, but black solved my issues ^^
