Aspy is a term to describe someone with Asperger's Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder. It is high-functioning, meaning Aspys can generally get by on their own (unlike autism, which usually requires supervision and in the worst cases, hospitalization). If you met an Aspy, you might not even recognize a disorder or you might recognize a peculiarity but nothing outside the boundaries of "normal."

I think I'm above average. Definitely not stupid, but not as smart as dom, Reise, etc.

I know a kid with Aspergers. He is the best artist I know. He seriously lacks social skills but his art is amazing.

uhh according to a 2006 ranking release by the US Census Beareau,
smartest cities (based on percent of residents age 25 and older holding at least a Bachelor's Degree)

1. Seattle, WA
2. San Francisco, CA
3. Raleigh, NC
4. Washington, DC
5. Austin, TX

etc...

BUT according to CNN Money's best places to live based on education, yes Davis, California is ranked #2

and my area is ranked #1 :P
Northern Virginia for the win.

btw that list is
1. Arlington, VA (10 miles away from Washington DC)
2. Davis, CA
3. Brookline, MA
4. Evanston, IL
5. Bloomington, IN

so yea, Northern Virginia/D.C. pwns.

Damn right it PWNS, we live there :D

I have been described as half-half. I am not bragging, but I am extremely smart in math/physics, especially physics. Some go even as far to seriously consider my ability in those subjects near or at genius level.

However......

My reading comprehension skills are horrible, along with my handwriting. Out of a sheet containing 86 errors involving words being used in the wrong context (example: There/Their), everyone in the class corrected at least 70-80 errors. I managed to correct 22 errors, the lowest in the class.

I also have problems on tests. I am a bad test taker. It is not uncommon for me to score lower on tests then everyone else. I over-analyze everything.

So do I think I am smart. It wholly depends on what I am tasked to do.

The point is not what type of smart they are, it's self-perception in human psychology.

It's more than that, your own mind wants you to look good at all times. Even when you embarrass yourself or answer something wrong, your brain downplays it or somehow alleviates the memory. Eventually you remember doing everything right and everyone doing everything wrong resulting in a small mistake on your part, the more time elapses the more your brain meddles with your bad memories. I like psyc.

Lets note that an AP course is equivalent to a 101, and thus easy as ****.

Well, it's easier to get a B in ap than to get an A in regular, so why not take ap?
