I like MMA .. always watch it wen a fight is randomly on the tele. All tho, I lean more towards the K1.

Yeah I've seen a lot of K1 fights. Mostly kick-boxing/muay-thai right? One thing I'm not sure is what kind of fighting styles K1 allows. I've seen fights where only stand-up was allowed and you can't take it to the ground and other's where you score only by knocking the opponent down, or sometimes full MMA. They gotta where those big boxing gloves so It's hard to throw your punches and yo can get tired pretty easily. I recall seeing Frank Shamrock actually visiting K1 as a UFC champion just to fight some guy known for his muay-thai, but endd up beating him after kicking him in the shoulder or something and the ref had to stop it.

EDIT: Looked up wiki. I guess this clarifies it.:

"K-1 is a combat sport that combines stand up techniques from Muay Thai, Karate, Taekwondo, Savate, San shou, Kickboxing and traditional Boxing to determine the single best stand-up fighter in the world (the "1").[1]"

So It's basically stand-up only.

Just found out why a lot of PRIDE fighters have been moving to UFC. According to recent PRIDE news, Dream Stage company sold it to the owners of UFC, but Dana White expressed doubt about what the new PRIDE owners will do with PRIDE. So after the sale closed, Dana White planned on bringing the PRIDE overs over to UFC.
