I'm surprise he's been missing for 2 weeks and the police has yet to start searching? Or am I just reading all the posts wrong. I would as many have already said contact the police, or done some searching of my own. Anything is better then sitting around worrying.

i dunno about any other guys on this forum but i don't call my family at all + i avoid phone conversations as much as possible. He probably just lost his cellphone or got it stolen and so its lying dead somewhere. He's probably sitting at his house thinking he should probably call you guys and never getting around to it....

Can some people read back to my posts, I have contacted the police tonight, but they cannot do anything without a fixed address or his last known address before they can start their search, I have also phoned around hospitals tonight. My dad is taking the day off work tomorrow and is going to Southend to search for him, but I don't know if that would really help, not knowing what part of Southend he was in.

My mum is in London for a week, working. My older brother lives 600 miles away. So there isn't much they can do right now.

I never had anything like this to deal with in my life so i cannot help you that much. My only advice to you is that you try to keep thinking positive thoughts and use all the resources available to locate your missing brother,and you can always post here if you need to vent. I think people would not mind it if you did.

Just because noone else has told you this, doesn't mean anyone won't mention it to you. The cops are thinking the same thing... Also he technically is deceased if theres no trace of him.
