Alright son, welcome to the club. You're a man now.
Btw, first part is hardstyle, and from 2 minutes on it's happy hardcore/UK hardcore pretty much. (which I still listen to as much as trance).
This. <3 UK Hardcore/happy hardcore. I love how upbeat and intense it is. A nice transition from mellow, melodic trance. I love hearing like... Above and Beyond followed by Hixxy followed by Darren Styles followed by Cosmic Gate. Something in that sense. It's amazing.

Same. Hixxy :3
Di.fm's happy hardcore channel has gone downhill though over a course of like 3/4 years. It's a dying scene Only a couple hundred listeners. The liveshows don't spike it up a lot and neither does the quality of their music..
This video here is rather old and simple, but pretty much contains my fav happy hardcore tracks. Code: Select all
The first track is just.... kaBLAM1m!! from 1:25 it really does take me away... edit: woo, memories Sick tunes in the vid. 3:50... mhmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... All those Crobian videos contain the top tracks tbh.
Edit: I've been slowly learning VirtualDJ, hoping to make my own mixes soon. My friend just went off to London for this super intense DJ School at the Ministry of Sound. He's pretty legit with his mixes. Has a whole turntable setup. Too expensive for me.

Ugh, I don't know. I like trance. Enough actually to listen to it over my favorite band (DMB), but I draw the line at styles that hurt my ears. Above and Beyond's podcast is the only one I listen to. I can trust that they'll never get into hardcore shit that makes my ears bleed.

I can't get into Justice. Their D.A.N.C.E. video is fucking sick though.
Also...I think I'm feeling a hard style phase come on. Something about that pounding bass. mmmm
There was a really good dutch hardstyle station which was also available through shoutcast radio on winamp. It was called FearFM but they went down because of money issues iirc. They played only the best hardstyle. Nothing unknown, just the best.

Shit. Was just browsing on my external hard drive cleaning up some stuff etc, came across this tune, the buildup is 3:10 long, but **** me, that shit blows me away right from that moment.
Btw curve, they kind of suck. The happy hardcore one (called Hardcore) is OKish mostly but it's dying and the quality of their music has just degraded over the years. Edit: There's als one called Gabber, which is actual hardcore. Stuff that you probably wouldn't like (few exceptions, can count those on 1 hand tho).

I'm not picky. Just have to have some music playing pretty much all the time.
Mat Zo <3. He's incredibly underrated imo.
Hmm. I think Mat Zo is definitely more popular than we think. Every week he's got a tune in ASOT, TATW, etc. But yeah his music definitely from the highest shelf.
I don't really need to say anything. He played early in the afternoon just before it started raining a little. And his stage wasn't very busy as you can see (it was still stretched quite wide tho) It was one of my favorite parts of the whole event. It was just such a nice atmosphere. Not too crazy, music is quite calm as well, just chilling, saving energy for the better DJs at night (if you want to see what i mean, go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxUP_aHU ... re=related and go to 1:50 and wait ). And then at 4:00 the chorus kicks in , smoke comes out, people yell and whistle all over the place. JIAASFJIAJIAS~!

So,
since i know we have a bunch of fellow Latinos on here, i was wondering if they could do me a little Favor.
My music has always been Mainstream English, i haven't really embraced my Latino Side, well be it that i share my time between Canada and Indonesia, i've been away from S.America long enough to kinda loose touch, but anyway lately i've been getting a little more into my roots, and i've been finding a bunch of Spanish/Latin music to enjoy, and i reallise i really enjoy it, anyway someone introduced me to Juan Magan the other day, and i downloaded some of his songs, and i was wondering if some of you guys had some good Latino/Spanish trance/techno/dance/remixes that you think are def worth a listen.

What do you guys think of this song? The tune is adopted by Q-Base festival as the anthem. This tune gives me goose bumps everytime I listen to it. Original: Code: Select all

The hardcore version is best IMO. Then then hardstyle version in the middle.
Great track, 2008 was my first visit to a q-dance event actually.
I'll post some of my fav hardstyle tracks
Rather boring buildup. But the qlimax is repetitive but just so awesome.

I'm looking for 1 specific track, maybe you guys can help me? Jantje in particular cuz he's a dutch hardstylecow It's a track roughly 2 years old, and the buildup i thought was rather boring and repetitive. The chorus however, is really awesome. It's not reversed like alot of the tracks are from 2 years ago, but the chorus is JUST melodic, and it sounds mostly like water drops falling on different tones. Not actual water drops, but very similar on the way the tone changes. The actual sound I'd describe as "dling!" with a tad bit of a high tone to it which goes up and down. It might be from dutch origin, but I've checked most dutch hardstyle djs and can't find it.
Halp pls I REALLY need that song, I often am in this situation and i never stop looking until I got it

Any vocals or what? And you don't have a sample? Because what you discribed is like 50% of hardstyle
