For the sake of this thread's discussion this is how I see hollywood as being unintentionally racist

If anyone is capable of being unintentionally ANYTHING, then logic and reality have just come to a complete and sudden stop.

You are unintentionally funny to me. Oh, no, wait, you're racist and anti-homophobic too! I am unintentionally being confusing.

Please shut the hell up. I have the Last Samurai DVD. And no I don't think that the Avatar movie is racist. Nor have I ever been to any site/forums or meet any group that is doing any brainwashing or revolting. As far as I'm concerned the Avatar is fantasy any and all things are possible and plausible.

Yes, all things are possible and plausible. But don't you hate it when they drop someimplausible bull shit in the middle of it all and call it fiction.

Also, wouldn't you agree that:

Being samurai (Savior and tamer of a Toruk) is very exclusive even among the native Japanese (Navi) in that era. So to have some foreigner acquiring that status is purely unrealistic and stupid.

There's some common confusion between the movies Avatar by James Cameron and The Last Airbender (the movie adaptation of the TV series Avatar) by M. Night. I believe BuDo is referring to the Last Airbender since it's one of the main examples Charatsandhu pointed out in the first page: "It's just some random white kid from Texas..." playing a supposedly Asian character from the series.

Or, BuDo is actually referring to Cameron's Avatar. He may have confused it when The Last Airbender was brought up.

Now, I may be just as confused...
