No need to be skeptical; it's the truth. The maximum sentence is 21 years. He could come free in 14 years though because of a good behavior rule. I'm hoping there's a possibility to charge and sentence for multiple crimes, to stack sentences to create life after all.

I guess I have a good retirement plan now.
Is Norway having some kind of a population crisis that they need these scum to come back to civilization after sapping off the people's money as punishment for their crimes?
He will never get out, he will be put in "safe keeping" after his sentence has been served, effectively extending his sentence to life in a vacation house.

"The maximum indeterminate penalty, called "containment" (Norwegian: forvaring), is also set at 21 years imprisonment, and the prisoner is required to serve at least 10 years before becoming eligible for parole. "Containment" is used when the prisoner is deemed a danger to society and there is a great chance of committing violent crimes in the future. If the prisoner is still considered dangerous after serving the original sentence, the prisoner can receive up to five years additional containment."
Should I interpret this as that he can get an additional five years of containment indefinitely? I'm interpreting this as 21 (original sentence) + 5 (additional containtment) = 26
But I guess I should probably not make too many statements about a law system I don't really know. My previous statement about the 14 years was also wrong; apparently it's 10 years ;\
Even if the law stated he could ge tout after 25 years. It would never happen. There would be too much pressure from.. well everyone.. to keep him locked up.

A friend of mine from Sweden told me about this girl that murdered her boyfriend in Norway and only served a year sentence for it, and was back living a normal life afterwards. This was like 5 years ago.. and yes a clear cut murder, not manslaughter/3rd degree.
he admitted the killings, but said he was not guilty because he had no other choice. this was the only way to defend norway against immigrants and socialists.
