I was put in a psychiatric hospital for a while. The only people that could get outside were smokers. I decided to start smoking so I could see the outdoors.

Oh yea, USA doesn't include tax on everything. Lamers, Every where I went with exact money, and it either didn't include tax, or I had to tip. Screw that.

Yep, I always find it kinda funny that I got started by being in a place that was supposed to help people. They have some really screwed up ways of doing things in those places sometimes.

so how did you end up in there in the first place

I did a lot of stupid things when I was younger. I had an overdose and they though I was suicidal. I haven't done drugs in over 3 years and am fine now. Anyway, I don't want to take this off topic so we should probably get back to the original point.

Oh, and yes smoking was one of the last drugs I tried when I did them strangely.

Same i didnt get what the big deal was. Although ill have an occasionally cig or cigar when im at a party for some reason cigs and beer go together.

Smoking doesn't cause cancer. Smoking increases the chance to get cancer.
Then again a lot of things increase the odds of getting cancer. Even walking in the sun increases the chances. You don't tell people who have skin cancer: "You should've stayed out of the sun. It's your own fault."

Not to mention that getting cancer is a completely normal side effect of ageing. Cells keep dividing, mistakes slip in your DNA and cancer can start if you have an unlucky mutation.

It's true though. Isn't there something left in the world that DOESN'T cause cancer these days? I mean c'mon, let's name a list of things in holland alone: cheese, tullips, rain, wind, sun, cellphones, microwaves, asians, trees, bushes, flowers, frikandells, krokets, papers, ink, scoobydoo strings (these plasting strings you could make a lotta shit with. were a big hit in holland for a while while I was in primary school) leather, silk, raincoats, cycling, tables, computering, and what not. name something in holland, it causes cancer. the Eurotower? sure, visit it, you've got cancer. pot? smoke it, you've got cancer. Researchers always find something they can blame for causing cancer.
