I haven't been able to do riddle searching for the past two days, I do all of it in the public library, and these last 2 days I've been walking home directly after school instead of staying at the library for an hour.

Riddle # 74

Difficulty: Easy

Code:
What can go up a chimney down, but cannot go down a chimney up?

Actually, the answer to this is not necessarily infinite moves. My arm when fully extended can reach exactly two feet beyond my toes, meaning I will reach the door after only two moves. :D

Pts. to Deacon

Riddle # 76
Difficulty: Hard

Code:
There are 5 houses in 5 different colors.  In each house lives a
person with a different nationality. The owners drink a certain
type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a
certain pet.  No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand
of cigar, or drink the same beverage.

Question - Who owns the fish?

HINTS:

The brit lives in the red house
The Swede keeps dogs as pets
The Dane drinks tea
The green house is on the left of the white house
The green homeowner drinks coffee
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
The man living in the center house drinks milk
The Norwegian lives in the first house
The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats
The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes
Dunhill
The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer
The German smokes Prince
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water

Someone does indeed own a fish, and no, it is not the brit, to avoid people guessing, you will need to not only provide which nationality it is that owns the fish, but what color house he lives in, what he smokes, and what kind of animal he keeps. Einstein said only 2% of the world could solve this riddle. If you paid attention in 3rd grade logic, it should come to you in 20 minutes :D
