Your valued opinion ? I dont think any wolfrace alloys look good on expensive cars. I think some 5 spoke Lenso ones would look great.. i'll see if i can find a pic of the ones im thinking of. Edit: ..yeah not the best picture.

http://www.dodgepolara.com/gallery/photos/111.3.JPEGMy first car was similar to that one, except a 4 door. Grandfather's car. It's still running, for those of you who think American cars are crap. Matter of fact, the people who own it are racing it. 383 wasn't the greatest engine, but it was enough to muscle that Polara. Pegged the needle multiple times. Probably 130+. The 318 ci was an oil-burner for sure, glad I didn't have one of those. 426 Hemi would be nice However, my current 3/4 ton Dodge has a 5.7 Hemi in it, with the 3.43 rear end. Balance for towing/acceleration. I can pass a car (from 55 - 85) in about 4 seconds. Sure, my truck gets about 15 mpg highway, but that's not what it's for. It is for towing a 29' travel trailer weighing 6600 pounds dry weight. It has 36,000 miles on it (it's a 2003, and I bought it with 18k) with the better tranny (can't remember the model number, 56e?) As other people have pointed out, comparing Japanese and German car engineering with American doesn't work. Most of our cars seem to support features, not performance.

pr0klobster ~ I like the nostalgic aura your car emits. It has a certain character about it. It also reminds me a bit of a Low Rider. _Creep_ ~ I think you like speed alot right? And when i was younger i also liked the Opel Calibra alot, and there were so many in stock it was awesome to just go over to a car dealer and glare at them or even sit in one, picturing yourself behind the wheel. cin ~ Even though i like BMW and even the Z4, those rims are just to standard looking for me,if you want some advice look below for my personal faves. I like to change the rims underneath my car as soon as possible, but i don't want something that makes it look like the Batmobile. I want to keep it the classy beast which it is. The last batch of Rims is something i could go for. But i also can't shake the image of the Yakuza rims i posted. But i have no way to determine if they actually look the part.

Quote: pr0klobster ~ I like the nostalgic aura your car emits. It has a certain character about it. It also reminds me a bit of a Low Rider. It should be nostalgic...it is now 41 years old. lol If you ask me, it's uuuugly, but a ride was a ride. I like the late 60's Chargers/Satellites better. I'm a Dodge fan, my father is a Dodge nut/mechanic and my grandfather sold and serviced Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge for 31 years. Dad has only had a late 70's VW (poc) and a early 70's Suburban. Other than that, still all Dodges, and he hasn't had many problems except for the 1982 Imperial. There's a reason they shorten it to "Imp". On topic (kind of) I have to admit that some American cars look...well, "uninspired" while the German cars look nice.

@grimjaw, the rims on the z4 make the car look classy. and tbh, they look huge since it's lowered a bit as well. the original alpina tuned z4 has the same rims, but 18". imo, the rims you suggest wouldn't make the z4 look better because it's supposed to look more "mature". so back rims would look awful, and the #1 rims look too extreme. i mean, the z4 is meant to look elegant. i'd put the four rims on something like an impreza or skyline.

Yeah that indeed makes more sense. The Z4 is a bit of a freak show when it comes to choosing the Rims i guess.

I never thought it would be this difficult. Most of the time i know exactly what i want, but now i'm seeing so many options it tends to mess up my judgment a bit. Like a kid in a candy store you know what i mean?

Yeah, when I was looking to buy car back then I only wanted calibra or Nisan prelude. But calibra was awesome car, so fast, so stabile so much fun, I drove her on open road 230km/h or 142miles/hour and thats for 18 year old car really fast. But I sold her recently, bough Alfa Romeo 156, really nice car.

Those rims on your car wouldnt fit on your car in my picture tbh. In my view, if you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy wanted some rims, you should get a classy black set thats not too, how can i say it.. glamouroius? Yeah, completely my view and opinion.. but i'm a JDM person, hondas ftw ~.~

The rims grim chose covered too much of the brakes.. seemed like a solid plate with small holes on it lol. I like rims that show most the brakes, and since you got good brakes you can show 'em off. Or get brembos :p

I might now be tempted to go for the Metallic Rims, because black might make the overall look of the car to be to dark. Example:
