I think you got ripped off cuz a G11 has 18 programable macro keys and the display can tilt unlike the G15's. Also, the G15's keys are sprayed on (the letters) unlike the G11's which are engraved into the keys. The G11 also costs less. I know cuz I got one
Muh, I heard a lot of complaints about thekeys rubbing off ... but I have pretty cold dry hands and after a year now I see no wear-and-tear ;o.
And also ... err my display can tilt .. and I have 18x3 macro's ;s

my G15s keys are backlit, not sprayed on, my screen can tilt aswell and i have 54 macro keys. I think the screen on the new G15 cant tilt though, but the new G15 sucks anywho. Old G15s ftw
EDIT: come to think of it, G11s also have blacklit keys and they dont have the displays. you sure you have a g11?

could someone teach me how to use the stack docklet?
Install it, then well .. click on the rocketdock and select add item. Should be an option stack docklet.
Once done click icon settings and you get a mini menu. Just chose the file you want stacked .. like C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Pictures or whatever. Then chose an icon if the think the stock one is ugly.
Then well in the same menu you can either select FAN or grid. Fan is what you see my posted, and grid is what I used to use .. which is basically just a box with all the stuff in it. Liek a mini file.
Thanks, Crumpets. I installed it last night and it looks amazing. I'll post pictures later when I get home from work. I really like your background, though.
Music Application: Foobar 8.3. It's important to use that version because newer versions have issues with skin compatability.
For the skins, make sure you install the required DLLs that are listed on the page. They're not always linked, if they aren't, download them from another skin's page's link.

It worked fine but everytime I start up my pc again I have to go into icon settings and do it all over again.

How do you shut your pc off ? Reset or actual shut down procedure ? Cause it's possible your entire settings are not being saved at all. Mine been working fine, but recently lost everything due to a format and I can't be arsed to re-download.

That happened to me too last night when I was setting it up. The problem, like Crumpets said, is that the files aren't being saved. I have a nice laptop, but when I got it it was broken or something. I'm an Administrator (the only account on my computer, actually) but sometimes I don't have access to my own system files. I can't even download some things. What happened for me was that each time I updated Rocketdock, it'd save the settings under the Rocketdock file in the Program Files under the C: drive. But since my computer couldn't access the Program Files under the C: drive, it wouldn't save. What I ended up doing was uninstalling it and just reinstalling it in another folder. It works fine now, and it looks great.
