Compound Machines

Ok, so my teacher gave my class a project and we have to build our own compound machine. It's so hard, I just can't get any compound machine to work. I mean I don't have the materials.

Nothing too big. And, objects that can be found at home or bought cheap. Also, no sharp items. Me and my partner thought about building a catapult and roller coaster, but we thought how would we get the wood? It's kind of expensive. Thanks.

Aren't compound machines just 2 or more simple machines put into one? Make a guillotine

, but your teacher said no sharp objects... So put like a heavy thing on the end and you can say it's an apple sauce maker

All you need is a lever and 2 pulleys.

Stuck with the idea of a catapult now. I got some wheels so I'm going to make a catapult

Use popsicle sticks and that white edible school glue.
