Buy it, I got a Zune and I regret getting it, now I can't return it because I ripped off the UCP label. The iTouch is the best mp3 player right now. The features are great and the screen is big enough. My sister and brother has it and they love it. Don't wait longer, get it now.

Oh boy was i wrong Within the range of Wi-fi, couldn't you just browse imeem (or an equivalent site) and listen to the thousands of songs they have? You can even upload your songs there from your PC/Mac if you don't want storing them on your iPod Touch.

Yup. With 3G and a good internet plan, you might not even have to store music on your phone.

Rubbish, your technical experience is just limited. Also, Apple JUST released a new line of Itouch(es), and there will not be any newer ones soon. Get it. I've got it about 6 months now, use it every day, and with the App stor it got even better. You'll regret getting a zune.

They are a completely different type of player. iPod touch and Zune can't be compared. iPod Classic and Zune can.

If you think you can't put songs you downloaded for free on your iPod Touch, you deffinately don't know what you're talking about.

I'd compair it to a Touch, bc of the wireless ability's. But it's really meant to compete with the new chromatic. And the 120GB version, well even MS compares it to the classic, but imo the classic is a to outdated concept to really compare.

Plug in the iTouch and all I see there are Cancel, Erase and Sync, and Transfer Purchases. If I didn't get the thing for free, I would definitely get a different MP3 player. Apple is full of crap -- especially their overpriced notebooks.

No point in continuing the arguement.
I plug in mine any day, since i refresh my music list every day. And i can do TONS more then your little negative self claims to be able to here.

ITS THAT SIMPLE OKAY?

Oh and about the notebooks:
Overpriced: a little.
So worth the money: a lot.

I bought my first ipod touch 32gig. My god, I never knew such a simple device can be soo awesome! Zune is a good competitor but comparing itouch and zune, they are in a complete different league. The only thing i hate about the itune is I can't go to other country itune Store and buy stuff from there. And i have to confess, i used to download a lot of illegal songs but since i have itune, i bought most of my song and don't regret it one bit.

Therefore I can't use "Transfer Purchases." Any solutions genius? Btw, you don't even have to make playlists to place songs into the iPod. Just sync it =)

Just sync it =) You can transfer stuff you got for free, but you have to go alittle more in depth. Go to My computer Open your ipod Show hidden files and folders Ipod_Control Music There are files in there called "FF00" and weird stuff, open them Double click on the music inside them to add them to your library (the files will have weird names, but everything still works perfectly) Do that for all the songs Presto @topicstarter itouches are fun little gadgets, but keep in mind the max it can hold is 32 gb, that's fine for me, I could live off of 16 (though I'd feel uncomfortable being so close to the limit), but some people really need their storage room. Also, zune is better than ipod in my opinion (though itouch is still arguably better if you don't mind the storage), because you actually get what you paid for. Buying an iPod: "Sweet! I got the newest, thing, awesome, now I am the best!" (six months later) "Goddamit! Something new came out and now I have to get it or something." Buying a zune: "Wow, this thing is alot better than I thought, I wonder why they're not mor popular" (every once in a while) "Wow, I'm so glad I got this, every update that comes out applies to my zune, even when they come out with a new zune, mine will still be updated, so it'll always be great " Essentially~ I'm not putting down apple, but I'm just saying zune in my opinion is the better deal.

Raingul I think he was talking about the iTouch. Which cannot be used an 'external device' like iPod classics.
