Ok so i just got the new ipod touch for xmas so im pretty happy, i do get wifi in my room but in order to use it i need to connect it from my wireless router.

My problem is i don't know what the password to my router is so i can join it threw my itouch.
So how do i find out my 2wire password so my itouch can connect to it?
(hope i made this clear im way tired)

Errm, im not really good at this but you can try this;
Open cmd and type in ipconfig. Then you see the "Standard Gateway number" thats the address of your router(atleast it is here) and type that into your internet browser. Then you will see the page of your router, now I dunno what router you have, so you have to search there for passwords. :D

An easier way is to type "homeportal" in your browser window, but the default password is on the sticker on the back of your modem. It will be enclosed in brackets [ number ]

Good that you got it but with 2wire routers just look at the router itself there should be a thing with three sets of numbers and the middle one is the one you're looking for

if what he suggested dont work for reasons such as its asking for a password, the simple way to bypass it is to directly connect to it via ethernet cable, shouldnt ask for a password that way atleast not for my netgear one

I have a 2wire router, it is on the left side of the router on a sticker, it should be 10 numbers long.
