I'm pretty sure "lol" can be said, without pronouncing each of its letters separately. i.e. L.O.L.

lol is only an acronym if you pronounces it as Lol as in the popular "luls". If you say L.O.L. then its not an acronym and afiak no ones say Omg they say O.M.G or oh my god....
omg is not a word. And afaik neither is lol technically because its not in any dictionary i have though times being what they are they may have made a recent addition...so even by your own definition you are wrong....
oh and you were checkin out my pic huh...do you like what you see? If you're 18 then that means you're legal and im always lookin for someone new to play with....i told you what your QQs do to me, and you've been so naughty and incorrect in this thread i think you need to be punished...

i never said that in order to be an acronym it must be in the dictionary. People normally use dictionaries to look up the definition of words. Whether you like to admit it or no omg and lol are abbreviations in various forms, not words.
Also i like how you are fixating on lol and ignoring omg, you know the other word that you said was an acronym. lol has merit for one, i've given you that, but omg is no where near being close. Theres a reason afaik is not an acronym, because its not a word. Lol and omg are not real words. They are abbreviations for phrases at best and internet slang at worst. If you handed in a paper filled with lols omgs afaiks tbhs and so on you would probably get an F and your teacher, as well as anyone with a brain, would tell you to use words next time...
Now i know thats not text book, theres a bit of common sense in there so you'll probably be lost on the concept but if you go back to first grade teacher and ask her if those are words, she'll explain it to you in a way you can understand....
btw 16 is a kid to me. I live on my own, in my own apartment, pay my own bills, tuition, cook my own food, etc. You live with your parents typing this using the internet they paid for and when the time comes you'll romp off to high school with the rest of the kids and talk about the jonas brothers or Yo Gabba Gabba or whatever it is 16 year old boys talk to 14 year old girls about....in fact, maybe its because im tired, but i realize that im arguing with a child, a child whose proven himself to borderline retarded on several issues multiple times...i'll take my leave

lol is an abbreviation of Laugh out Loud, sure. How does that not make them an acronym though? There's hardly any point arguing about this, because I'm going to stick by my original idea that Lol is an acronym. In fact, if it makes you feel better; I'll ask my English teacher on Wednesday.

OMG isn't an acronym. Does that make you feel better? Anywho, what's to say in an essay you couldn't write "Laugh out loud (lol)" and therefore are able to use lol further in your essay.
