To get into the Marines you have to do:
1. 20 pull ups *not chin ups*
2. 100 crunches
3. Complete a 3 mile run in 18 minutes
So could you do it?

No, but at the same time I wouldn't want to. My ASVAB scores proved I would be wasting knowledge in the Marines or the Army, and I needed a more thinking based field like the Air Force or Navy.

The first two of course I could. The last one...Put me in a car 2.9 of the 3, and then let me run the rest sure.

I can't do very many pull ups. Their so much harder then chin ups, I can only do like 5.
I can do the crunches easy.
I haven't ran in a while, but I may start up again so that I can do 3 miles in 18:00 minutes.

Crunches are easy, pulls ups wouldn't be that hard but I really hate running.

So could you do it? 2 and 3 of course. I've never once been able to do a chin up or a pull up. I'm pretty sure the hell that is marine boot camp is much worse than this though.

Pull up = A chin up, which is much easier is like a pull up. only your hands are facing you. And not pointing outwards. Can do them all pretty easily..but I'm young and in shape. Not entirely sure about the pull ups but I could probably after 1-2 weeks if I can't already.

I believe I'd be capable of doing all. Easiest for me would be 3 mile run (I was district champion at cross country). I do pull up's, crunches, and push up's each day when I go to the gym - so hopefully they wouldn't be too hard to complete.

Pull ups are a lot harder than a majority of you think.
The crunches are easy, the running not so much.
I'm almost 100% sure you don't have to be able to meet these requirements up front. You go through boot camp, if you make it through boot camp you're a Marine. You don't show up and perform those three tasks and they "let you in". Doesn't work like that. Perhaps they work you up to being able to perform at that level, but you're not expected to be able to do that cold turkey straight off the bus.
BUT, if you're planning to go into the Marines.. it would greatly benefit you to be in tip top shape before you get there.

i can do all but the 3 mile run without effort, cardio is the sucks in all that. with moderate training i think it would take me 3-4 months to run that .

No to all 3, too fat. Edit: Is there a time limit on the crunches?
