Yesterday the second round of Romania's Presidential Elections were held. The run-off round between incumbent president Traian Basescu and social-democrat Mircea Geoana. Traian Basescu won 2nd mandate after mass reports of frauds his party[PD-L]bribed people for votes, multiple votes by one person, throwing peoples votes to garbage and so on, so he can win again. I feel like puking, I hate Traian Basescu and like me another 6 million romainians. He was the worst president of Romania after the collapse of the Iron Curtain, in his 5 year mandate our foreign relationships deteriorated at an unprecedented level, he caused only chaos in romanian politics, he was member of the communist nomenclature, he colaborated with the State Security ratting on anyone who was against the party, he was minister of transportation and he actually sold Romania's ships fleet for nothing, he punched a kid in the face during a electoral meeting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDCR5pdRfH4, he stole a reporters phone and called her a "filthy gypsy", he has the secret services wire-taping any politician that has a different opion. Good Lord I feel like crying blahh... I just thought I could share it with you. Our democracy is in peril with him being another 5 years in charge.

wow, I was goin to make a thread about this, but thought that nobody would care about poor doomed romanians, and the lack of brain of the population who voted for same idiot. Sadly, they say he has been voted especially by the young people, who got brainwashed with "OMG Geoana is a communist!!!"... been trying to convince some of my friends not to vote for him, but they wouldn't listen..

Even with the brainwashing and all, it all looks like fraud to me, they say there has been power cut-off in some areas, last evening, so it is very much possible that the mass reports of fraud were true. I voted, and now I'm pissed =/. 50,33% vs. 49,66% hmmmmm thats weird. Basescu was meant to go to jail if he wasn't elected, because he's done so much shit during these 5 years, even though he claims that he was goin to go back to being a sailor lol.. so yeah, he's done everything he could to keep himself in charge

Still, it was kindof funny last night, when they were both convinced that they won the elections, something went very wrong and I fail to understand why both parties had different reports of voting percentage. I still hope they will cancel it or do some investigation, before it all sets for good. Our already messed country will go to hell for good with this guy for 5 more years =/

looks like they found some strange things that happened during the elections, like people who were dead for few years appeared that they voted lol... sounds like fraud, as I havent heard about any zombie attack. so yeah I guess we're gona vote again soon >__>
