Need advice on Gfx card

Well, its time to get a new one since the other one died on me a few months back and ive been forced to use a crappy GeForce 8300 ever since.

The last time I bought a Gfx card was about 2 years ago (GeForce 8600, loved that thing) so that means I really dont know the market all that well anymore and would love some good advice on whats good and whats not.

My budget is about 100$.

P.S. My PSU is kinda crap (400W) so keep that in mind. And if you need anymore info do tell.

Me thinks this will work on your psu.

That is a good card, but at this point if you can run something as new as a 5670 on 400 watts, you're better off spending a few extra bucks for a DX 11 card.

Side note: I'm kinda surprised they're still selling the 8*** and 9*** series cards. Anyone know why they're keeping them around?

Not sure, I still use a 9800GT. Runs all my games great. However, I'm on a highly overclocked system.

I want a second one to sli..just for fun. Too bad my mobo chipset doesn't support it.

Because they can still run 95% of the PC games out there. Video Cards arn't just for Hardcore Gamers that upgrade their builds every 3 months. :palm:

Thanks for the input guys, think ill go with the HD5670 Deadsolid posted (been looking around and it seems thats the best I can get with my crappy PSU anyway).

If anyone has any personal experience or something with the card id love to hear it.
