Pretty simple question for you folks today: If you had to choose one of the extremes, would it be very cold or very hot?
In other words, say you work a construction job. Let's say a mason laying bricks, making cement, digging holes, etc. Would you rather it be absolutely freezing cold(like 20 degrees F or lower((hey I'm a California boy what can I say that's very cold for me))), or unbearably hot(120 degrees F+)?
Personally I'd rather be cold, especially in those kinds of working conditions. In general, you can add more layers until you're relatively warm when it's cold outside. When it's very hot...there's not much you can do beyond taking off all of your clothes and wearing a wet rag around your head. And you're still sweating like a pig and wanting to pass out. Not to mention the fact you need water many times more often than when you're cold.
EDIT: For reasons of unclarity, just post what you'd pick in general, and/or for my specific example of a labor-intensive job.

Is it only at job time? Then rather hot, I can't work when it's ass cold. >>
If it's either way hot or cold 24/7, I'd go for cold.
Simply because I don't want to think of hugging someone while everyone’s sweating their ass off.
If it's cold, shared body heat FTW!

Lol you're the only one so far. Heat makes me feel kinda sick to my stomach. And it gives me a headache. Especially if I enter a very hot room from a nice temp outside. Oh man it makes me feel pretty sick usually lol. Someone told me that's cos I probly have low blood sugar from not eating enough. I wonder.
Yet at the same time sometimes only slight cold will have me shivering nearly un-controllably, teeth chattering.
Lol ahhhhh what's wrong with me.
EDIT: No relevance to the thread but this is awesome. Homie just gave me his change out of $20...he only bought two packs of cigs. I just got a $7 tip for handing somebody some cigarettes. YES! That qualifies as my easiest tip yet at this job.

but yea, id much rather be cold. you can always put more stuff on, but you can only take so much stuff off when you are hot before you are naked and wishing you could take your skin off
EDIt ... not to mention i was born in Lake Tahoe, and it is generally cold there so i am used to it. Tahoe FTW.

It would have to be the cold..
Where I use to work it reached 40c+ and it was a nightmare to work in. They didn't AC. But in the cold you can put layers on.. But when its hot you can't take all your clothes off

RuYi you don't wanna be up close to anyone sweating?
I wonder how you could pull off having sex without working up a sweat...?

Well it's true. How da hell can you be having good sex and not sweat?
Cmon now, think about it.
Heh heh. Although hugging someone IS different, which is the example RuYi said...but hey I'm just a perv and I was hoping she'd take a hint and give me her numbas and addy for me to fly out and have some fun.
Hehe jkjkjkjkjk.

I would rather be hot than cold.
When I got cold, my lips, fingers turn purple and I feel like Im dying, the feeling is unberable.
Hot is okay for me.
PS: Fat people love cold environment more?

I used to be fat, now I'm skinny. Two outlooks, that's sweet huh? Anyways being fat does provide A LITTLE extra protection against the cold. But only a little. It's def not a good reason to get fat or stay fat.
