Many people say things that are incorrect, yet are accepted in everyday conversation.

What are some of those things?

"I could care less." - People say this all of the time in referance to something they don't care about. When they say this, they are trying to imply that they couldn't care any less because they don't care what-so-ever in the first place. Yet they're SAYING that they COULD care less, which SHOULD lead us to infer that they do care in the first place, right?

Lol. Always bugs me.

That's my contribution to the thread...anyone got anymore?

Pretty Sure Black_Mamba had that about Care Less in her signature. Only thing that bothers me is when people reply to whatever you say with a ___ your face, putting the verb there. My friend has said he is gonna lick my face, bite my face, write my face, etc. Because of the first two i keep my distance from him though.

And that Could Care Less thing is annoying. I always make a point to say couldn't.

I hate how people say mean things and then say just kidding, does that make it better? For example, you are so fat! just kidding haha. me thinking - omg am i fat?

just kidding is supposed to mean like "I'm dont really mean it" but u said it already so u did mean it right? I dunno maybe its just me =\

Redonkulous (rediculous) - apparently my brother thinks it's hilarious, rather annoying.

And I heard it from my girlfriend the other day.. I'm not sure if she picked it up from him or what but it seems to be spreading. :x

There is one problem here, when someone says "I could care less" they usually say it exaggeratively in real life. When they say "I couldn't care less" they say it more bitchy.

When you find something you are looking for, and someone says, "It's always in the last place you look". NO REALLY? Who keeps looking for something after they find it?

"Can I ask you a question?" - you already did

Thats all I can think of.

By the way, it does make sense, people just say it wrong ALL THE TIME.

Add saying "Morning" instead of "Good morning" to the list of shit people say incorrectly.

Edit: Oh, and GG being used out of context. Noobs, GG means "Good game" nothing else. You don't say GG in response to a video, or some other random crap.

When i worked at UPS, before i got muscle tearing because of those ass faces, Whenever they wanted a job done, they would say "just knock this out fast as you can" "knock out that truck in 30 minutes". Would love to knock them out.

Hito that reminds me of my old maintenance manager.. he'd always say "bang this out, bang that out, bang bang.." if only he threw in some females... now that's initiative.

Why is it said that an alarm clock is going off when really its coming on?

How come people tell you not to stand in front of an emergency exit when if there was an emergency surely you would run through it?

Why is it that if someone yells "duck" they are helping you, but if they yell "chicken" they are insulting you?

God i could go on... but i need to go home Schoolz over, ttylz guyz :D

Well back from school, anyway to continue my list:

Why are the adjectives 'fast as' and 'slow as' often used in conjunction with hell, is hell slow or fast?

How's come people tell you to stay a kid for as long as you can. Yet the moment you do anything childish or immature they tell you to grow up.

Why when people ask you "what three things would you bring with you on a desert island?" no one ever replies, "A BOAT"

Why does it say do not use before work with heavy machinery on the back of childrens tylenol? I mean..really could we save that many people by getting those damn five year-olds with headcolds off those forklifts!

Why is it written "May contain traces of peanuts or other kind of nuts" on peanut butter jars. Are people stupid enough not to realize it themselves?

You know the saying "throw ya hands in the air like ya don't care"? why bother doing that if you dont care?

I have loads of these XD

I was wondering why this phrase is common in replies in you tube.

Quote:
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days. Copy and paste this, to be saved

and also that lautakta w/e thing.
