 Post subject: How do you make a moving pic w/h PS

Hello. I have searched all of srofumrs used the search functions 4 times and i still have not found a guide in how to make this. I even used google 2 times and didn not find anything. If anyone has a link in how to make moving pictures or GIF type please post link.




I use adobe photshop cs3

Not much to explain. You can open AVIs directly then save them as GIFs (use "Save for Web & Devices...") or you can bring up the animation panel to tweak them. If you want to make an animation from scratch, you can make a layer for each frame and use the "Make Frames From Layers" command on the Animation palette. The other option is to use separate layers for objects in your animation, along with the keyframe controls of the animation palette. That allows you to tween position, opacity and style but it's kind of confusing because it works just like Premiere's keyframe system.

Adobe killed off ImageReady as of CS3 and replaced it with Fireworks, which can't even import AVIs. :(

In CS3, the imageready animation features were incorporated into photoshop IIRC. However, as Cruor brought up, with the aquisition of macromedia, there are several better choices in the suite for animation.

So, if you want to use imageready tutorials, just use photoshop cs3.
