well i downloaded and installed sone vegas 8.0, and i was wondering if there's any manual or guide that i could use to start learning it's proper use. I'm like lost but i know i can learn to use it.

-Couldn't find anything for 8.0 yet, but for older versions I did. Will be similair to 8.0 I guess

Just search, you will find basic guides there, when you know the basics, you can figure most things out yourself.

thank you for that link, i pretty much played a bit with sony vegas and learned a couple of things. I'll keep trying it later.
