webcam software?

ive been trying to record a clip for a friend with my webcam but i cant seem to find one that actually records sound/video the ones i've found do screen caps , so does anyone know any cam software that does this O.o. for free perferibly , or trial

Usually software comes with the webcam, and if it did but you don't have the CD or something, usually they have it available for free download at the manufacturer's website. Those are usually supposed to record video with sound

yeah mine is like 4-5 years old, it only came with drivers from what i remember, i cant find any software for it on the net either
its a dynex =.=

Windows movie maker can capture video I believe. Try that
