Download/record Youtube vids?

anybody know any plugin or software to save youtube vids to your computer?
i remember i've tried it a couple of times, but that was ages ago.
perhaps firefox has some recording plugins?

Fire fox has add ons for it.

Its called downloadhelper iirc.

you can also do it with the Greasemonkey plugin and the scripts that run with it.
