We're currently learning about genetics and how traits are passed down. We just learned about punnet squares and I'm kind of lost. :)

Our task is to prove:

1. Key: -Genotype Symbol for the allele
-Phenotype for the symbol
-inheritance pattern

2. Parental cross:
Genotypic and phenotypic

3. Punnet Square

4. Genotypes and genotype ratios

5. Phenotypes and phenotype ratios

The Given Genes:
All are heterozygous

Axial flower, Inflated pod, Green pod, Tall plant multiplied by the same thing (Axial flower, Inflated pod, Green pod, Tall plant)

Dominant and Recessive:
-Axial flower dominant with Terminal flower being recessive
-Green Pod dominant with Yellow pod being recessive
-Inflated pot being dominant with Constricted being recessive
-Tall plant being dominant with Dwarf being recessive

------------------------------------------------------------

I'm thinking a 16x16 punnet square?

First of all, did you check wiki?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punnett_square

If you're doing biology wiki is one of your best one stop general resource until you graduate

if you provide me with more detail information and diagrams I can try to figure it out for you :)

lol man im freshmen and punnet squares are easy (e.g

E e
E(EE)(Ee)
e(Ee)(ee)

Capital E is the dominant alle the lowercase e is the non dominant trait

Ee = Dominant
EE = Dominant
ee= non-dominant

You combine the mothers and fathers alles to make the punnet square, we did more like blood and mult-alle, polygenic etc etc

Did you read the question? I'm working on a quad-hybrid question where 4 heterozygous traits are changed...I don't need to hear about the basics...it's bio honors...not 7th grade bio...
