Just depends on what games you want to play really. I myself prefer Gears of War/CoD/Halo series. Not so much Halo anymore though.

Doubt there's going to be another price drop for a bit, but I could be wrong.

Real cheap when i got it. I bought it for 1k australian. When it first came out. Nao its like $600. Mine came with 4 games and 3 controllers.

The Advantage i see with the PS3 is the way its designed
Sure the Consle it self is an ugly peice of shit but its Operating system is Unquie and very easy to use

This makes the PS3 become alot better in future yeas were the 360 will be struggling with higher More Demanding games in a few years time

PS3 you have more freedom. you can use a keybored and mouse on unreal tourment 3 , 360 wouldnt let you becasue theres to much issues in secuirity as i read on 1 website (Sorry forgot where i read it ). You can also install linux on a playstation 3 which allows you to run anything nearly , ive heard theres a version of linux i think its called yellow dog linux thats optimized for the PS3

I forgot you have to pay for xbox live, it all adds up... In the end xbox is more costly, in a few years people will get tired of 'halo' or other semi good hits... The ps3 is much more powerful, but everyone is giving the 360 head because they played a few of its hits.

Good hits on PS3 are on the 360 too..perhaps FF..dunno bout that one.

I like the 360 more because of the controller lolz..And Halo >: ) And the fact that PS3 franchises aren't something for me (perhaps Killzone, but nothing else).

It will take a long time before the ps3 will have to use his 7 cores..Like you said in a few years and by that time a new console will pop up already so ^_^

Neither does xbox, theres only like 5 games that people actually buy. And they dont buy it all at once.

Here's a solution, spend less on a new graphics card and maybe some RAM for your pc and game on that. Cheaper and online is free.

the reason why ps3 is so big and fat is because it needs room for all the processing speed and stuff. Thats why the graphics are the best on the ps3. Check out the wii, it looks cute, its small sure, compact, easy to handle, but the graphics are a piece of shit, and they have nothing to offer except some "wiimote" and brawl.
