Yes, just make sure you know which graphics slot your mobo supports. ie. PCI, AGP, PCI-E. Get the right one and it should fit perfectly.

find out if it's compatible with your mother board (forget it if your using a dell) then make sure your power supply will support it.

It is pretty easy... just remove the clip holding the old one (if there is one) and put the new one in only holding the sides of the card remember. Once it clips in to the slot plug in the power cable (if there is one, most newer cards use), close up the case and boot up, go into bios and make sure its detecting your card, and not the onboard one (if it applys to you) and disable onboard graphics. Go into windows and install drivers, the end! :D

Before u start: download the new drivers, then remove old drivers -> power off; disconnect powercord; open the case. And MAKE SURE u are free from static electricity or u will fry ur mobo

Make sure you ground yourself before touching it or any of the electronic parts inside, because static electricity can destroy it. Ground yourself by touching the power supply..

Changing the card is easy; remember that if you need force then you're doing it wrong. :) Make sure you ground yourself to the internal case metal or to the same ground as the case while working. Just sitting down on your average deskchair while not being grounded can make you pick up a few 1000V of static electricity, and most computer chips can be fried at a few 100V.

Ever been shocked in winter by static electricity? That was over 6000V if I remember correctly.
