Ok this is fun.

Since i turned on my laptop, i can ONLY get on silkroadforums and msn, i cant even open other sites such as google and others, or games (albatross, sro, etc).

and no, i aint downloading stuffs atm, i checked that and seems ok.

Any1 know what would be the cause of this funny issue?

Happened to be once, I could still play this game which I'm still logged on but browser stopped loading pages and IM programs were disconnected. Ain't got a solution though

The DNS server associates domain names with IP addresses.

Try this in the command prompt:

i can only use aim and not surf web or anything.

try to reset your router or modem, or go to your wireless thing(if have) and click repair

Not in the devices list, not in the networkconnections list, reinstalled all drivers, turned the physical switch on and off till my hand turned blue. Done everything.

It's still missing.

Start, Run, type "CMD"
in the black window type "ipconfig /flushdns"
Then type "ipconfig /all"

Identify the DNS servers' IP for your active connection (usually Ethernet Adapter LAN connection, but could be wireless too)

Ping the DNS server - "ping xx.xx.xx.xx" where x is the ip address reported by ipconfig. (like 64.202.167.31 or something)

If you can ping the DNS server, it's more likely to be your PC, but you can check with your ISP as well to see if their DNS server is down. Unlikely since most of them run two.

Also could be something in your hosts file, IE security settings (sites getting put in the restricted zone or something), spyware, your router giving out incorrect DNS, etc

somehow it's working normally.
