Its great.
Mac is the butter knife; easy, Windows is the army combat knife; straight to the point, and Linux is the swiss army knife; way more useful, but somewhat harder to use.

Mac: working on papers/photoshop/music
PC: games with the ability to upgrade hardware

In windows, you open up the terminal, and you have.... MS-DOS... lol

Macs are also generally more expensive but with less advanced hardware.

Laptops are retarded for gaming. Windows is only useful for gaming. Getting a laptop defaults to getting a mac. Getting a desktop (and thus, ultimately gaming) means getting a PC.
I regret so much not getting a macbook instead of a laptop, for my school work. I keep my desktop for only gaming.
