With the guild and party **** ups when the game first came out, you might need to "kick" (cancel the invite) and reinvite.

Haven't figured out how to "guest" on another server... Only option I see for going to another one, is actual full server transfer.

That's because guesting isn't enabled yet. Server transfer is currently the only way to meet up with friends, but that won't be free forever.

Bored with WvW failure. Our good players left and were replaced by bandwagon jumpers who can't read instructions.

WvW is more about cooperation than PVP skills. The first thing I do upon entering is ask who's in charge and what our current objective is. If no one is in charge, I try to take control of it along with some smart players who have enough wits to actually get together and formulate a strategy -- the rest of them will continue to ignore us and either 1. die on empty fields / 2. die trying to put a small dent on a reinforced fortress gate. The problem with a lot of people in WvW nowadays is they equate being commanded into becoming someone's bitch, thus, most people don't bother with strategy at all.

The reason why Blackgate was able to dominate servers like Dragonbrand before is because the majority of our team WAS made up of good players who listened to tactics. Now, after the server capacity increase and bandwagon-jumpers trying to ride on our glory, we only have about 1 out of every 10 who actually listens (if we're lucky). With a 10 man team as the vanguard, we were able to take and defend 2 camps, and take over a small base. If we actually had more people who listened instead of fighting on wide empty fields with a semi-organized zerging opponent, we would actually have a fighting chance.

But I guess with a mentality like "zomga don't listen to dem, they hardxcore wannabe", I don't think I should expect more from Blackgate again.

The game's story is finally getting interesting. Just reached Lv30 and joined the Order of Whispers. Cleared Queensdale, Kessex Hills and Gendarran Fields so now I'm on to Hathari Highlands. Can't wait to be done with this Centaurs & Bandits bullshit. This game legit instilled a seed of hatred for those virtual centaurs in me. :x

Ever went dragon hunting? It's Farking epic when you see them spawn. I saw Tequatl (undead dragon) spawn for the first time earlier. I fought him before but I've never seen him spawn until today.

Here's a vid of some guy who recorded it.

Mesmer? I'd argue against that.

So far the only ones that have been giving me trouble are dual pistol thieves (burst damage) and condition rangers, like myself. I even got myself a purity axe for WvWvW just to get rid of the stupid bleeds.

Mesmer have the highest sustain dmg in the game, not burst. More a relevant pve fact. 6k dmg per warlock so x 3 + bleeds + whatever dmg the mesmer himself does, pretty yeah ...

Condition Rangers = High DOT, not burst damage. When played correctly, you can stack an average of about 15 Bleeds (although I have been able to max 25 by myself before) and a continuous poison debuff. Not to mention, freeze, cripple, dazed/stun, vulnerability, and interruption skills. The Trait line for Marksmanship bonus is +Power / + Condition Duration so think of it as extra damage that can be comparable to burst damage, on top of the DOTs. If you're good enough to chain your kills in WvW or maybe even SPVP, you can carry a weapon with a Superior Sigil of Corruption which adds +10 Condition Damage for every mob/player that you kill with a maximum limit of 25 (250 Condition damage bonus). As far as survivability goes, Wilderness Survival, the main trait line for Condition Rangers adds +Toughness along with the +Condition Damage bonus. There is also a Grandmaster Major Skill called "Signet of the Beastmaster" which allows the player to benefit from the active signet skills that the pets get; which means, Signet of Stone (**grants 6 seconds invulnerability**, 120CD), Signet of the Hunt (next attack damage is boosted, 30CD), and, well I wouldn't suggest Signet of Renewal because you wouldn't want to suck up all those conditions from your allies. TL;DR, I eat Mesmers for breakfast. XD

I'm planning on making a burst damage thief next though so we'll see how that goes. :)

OH, AND HOORAY I'M 80 NOW ^^

I'm hoping zerging gets adjusted, right now its too easy to go from 70-80. I gained like 2 or 3 levels in an hour last time I did it.

Wtb some balance too, I nearly got one hit by a thief in WvW as a guardian, which is just stupid.
