First thanks to Hershey who came up with some of these quotes (not that he is botting mind you lolz :love:

).

Ok, so if you've run a legit guild before you would see this often. Catching a player botting in the guild, but they give you some excuse. Well, these are the top 5 lamest excuses, at least I ranked them so ^^. (Note: some of these makes more sense before powerlevelling became more popular). So the top 5 lame excuses for being caught botting:

#5 Stalling!

A."I was stalling!"
GM."But you're sp in guild went up"
A."Uhm.. I was stalling outside town, in a uhm, 8 man share party

"

#4 Powerleveled.

"I was tracing while being powerleveled. It got boring so I went afk :/"

#3 Hacked?

"Yeah well, it wasnt me who was playing. My account got hacked. But dont worry, I got it back, and all my items too

!!!1!!1! Thank god!!1!"

#2 Long sightedness.

"I wasnt humping the wall! Honest! I was trying to get to the other side of the wall and my char glitched! Thats the honest truth !!!"

#1 Wasnt me playing :s.

"My Brazilian cousin from antartica who couldnt type was playing on my char..."

Nothing can compare to the "Wasn't me playing" excuse in terms of lameness. It's probably the most common excuse I seen.

Try doing that, but at the end, use a return scroll, so the potential newbie will go pink, because in his mind he will say: Ok he's scrolling back, so I can go pink without problems, then boom, cancel the return scroll and eat the newbie. I Did that a couple of times.
