Still, unless you've been friends knowing the fact that he/she bots, it's not betrayal.

Knowing that your pal has been botting all along while putting a legit mask is betrayal.

Depends on the person, usually no, but if I caught an avalon person botting, I'd report it faster than you can say "Cacadoodoopeepeeshire"

I dont really have any bot friends. I had one, he has since stopped playing, but everyone else Ive known has just turned out to be a retard. My alt account in Xian got hacked by a guy who knew the info cause he used to be legit. Went bot, I disagreed with it and didnt say much, next thing I know he's hacking my alt when that who exploit thing happened. I didnt keep anything valuable on it, just crap gear, but still.

The leader of Triadz, one of Xian's most ahole bot guilds when I was last there used to be a very nice member of SG's guild, BlackHand.

Every legit I ever knew that went bot, also went ahole at the same time. Look at the recent events here in SRF... Once nice decent members of the community... they admit they bot and WHAM, instant need for a helmet and drool cup.

Most botters are jerks.

Even the one bot friend I still know, the one that doesnt play, thinks its ok to shoplift from a major store chain like WalMart because they can afford it. There is an inherent flaw in people who think its OK to cheat that make them less than ideal friend material.

do u download music for free?

I watch music videos on youtube... lol Does that count? No I dont DL music, but I did use my sister's FRAPS registration code before I discovered WeGame.. >.> <.<

Of Course. SRF doesn't want botters or cheaters here. You on SRF, you bot? You're banned:

***IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN A MEMBER HERE. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY POSTS YOU HAVE. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN YOUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. IF YOU DO THESE THINGS, YOU ARE GONE. END OF STORY.***

What I was thinking. Sad how people forgot the definition of the word friend. People are starting to treat this game like real life. But in the end its just a video game and cheaters exist everywhere.
Seems like you never knew the definition of the word friend.

friend
-noun
1. a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
2. a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter: friends of the Boston Symphony.
3. a person who is on good terms with another; a person who is not hostile: Who goes there? Friend or foe?
4. a member of the same nation, party, etc.
5. (initial capital letter) a member of the Religious Society of Friends; a Quaker.
–verb (used with object)
6. Rare. to befriend.
—Idiom
7. make friends with, to enter into friendly relations with; become a friend to.

Guess I missed the part where it states the differences between an online friend and an offline friend... Why shouldn't people treat the game like "real life?" Last time I checked, people don't suddenly die or fall into a dream-like state when they log onto the internet.

E-Friends fit that definition. Botter or not. Some botters can fill the definition and some just can't. Not saying be friends with all bots, be friends with bots etc... Just saying that friends are friends and no matter what they do, you shouldn't betray them.

o i was talking about real life friend i would never snitch out a real life friend for boting
and a offline friend if there nice to me and help i wouldnt report them.... but if there bunch of jackass. then yes i would probably report them..

to be perfectly honest, i wouldn't because of 3 reasons, SRF already lost all of the Good members, Banning them from this forum will do jack shit, and last but not least if they bot its their choice, why spy on others, i'm currently reading the book "1984" which is wonderful, however i finding i can relate this community to the one in which the book describes. So i wouldn't report them, if they wanna turn them selves in they can.

i really dont know , i dont whine about bots anymore. because i know ther not gona go away, and nor can we stop them. so no point. i wont bother making a video just to get someone banned from a forum, even more waste of time and life :P . itz not like ther gona get banned from the game soo i really dont care. :) but yea i dont support the bots either :P , i like this whole idea of exposing bots on srf. itz nice :) , only if joymax would do such a great thing.

Yes, a game. Something meant to be played, where people pay real money for an advertized service. Everytime someone runs a bot, they're ripping off a legit that pays money to play.

If I paid for a cinema ticket and walking into the theatre there were no seats left because some kid opened the back door for all his friends, i'd be pissed.

I would, probably because I care for so little people, and if those people botted I would report them anyways, as I quit SRO since those people are my motivation... and they betrayed me.

There is this saying (dont know if I got it 100% correct)
A friend bails you our of prison
A good friend sits next to you and says 'we sure f***ed up'

So I guess that if you meet a friend who is botting you should bail him out of botting, and when your friend is legit then you just sit out the ride together, being legit ;)

It's a good analogy.

Fixed. Not most botters buy silk.
90% of SRO population are bots. But among the bots, 80% are gold bot, 20% are player bots. Among the player bots, 50% buy silk, 50% not.
After all, gold bots never buy silk.

Yea its an unwritten rule goldbots dont buy gold but if you go to niya guards or bone soldiers on olympus you'll see a bunch of them with premium >.<

3 pages of whining. :banghead:

NO, I WOULDN'T report... First, because its none of my business if he bots or no and second, because this community has already lost enough helpful members.
