those mercs are old. they came out with euro update but then quickly disappeared due to fw coming out, i doubt they'll come back anytime soon. probably have to wait till the next major update so they can fix up the fw problem

Olddddd, mercs aren't coming back. Yes, there were euro mercs. That was between Legend 1 and Legend 2.

I'm sure most people remember, but when there were mercs, LOTS of 80's (Usually botters), would create their own guild, that would have 1-5 people in it for the sole purpose of mercs.

Fortress war's would be even more screwed over if there was loads of guilds that only had one person in them. One man fights don't work.

As a testament to how powerful mercs were - when they were still around I would keep bunches of fire mercs on me at a time, and at the time I was the master of a union, so when I summoned I summoned a buttload of them. maybe even a dozen. I had upgraded them with extra hp and attack power as well.

I was hunting once, put up my mana shield, and took on at least 7 people at once, and won. It took them 3 sets of mercs to take me down.

I won't say I'm glad to lose that sort of power (I missed it at the time ) but in the long run its better for the game that they're gone. I was pretty annoyed when they first appeared anyway...

lol it wud b nice if they came back. my 3 person guild (lol) was gonna test them out for the 1st time after we got our guild emblem. like a day b4 we was gonna they removed em. and im sure its not hard 4 them 2 stop them being used inside fortress wars, just like u cant spawn a horse inside the caves
