Is there a way to start German SRO, American SRO, Turkey SRO, etc.?

How did Vietnam start theirs? I'm assuming they got some representatives of some sort of some mmorpg company to sponsor/support it. Anyone else have any solutions?

It would be pointless to make another SRO broken up even more.
The only reason VSRO was created was because the Vietnamese were banned from ISRO I believe. I may have heard it wrong but I think thats what it was.

The only way another sro will be created is if we get all the turkish ips banned like what happened on youtube.

You are wrong my rasist brother !!! Turkish people are not banned from YouTube but Turkish government banned the YouTube site because of some rasist shit against Turkey was going on there.

BTW I don't think it is good for a government to ban a site !

No, I believe that the Vietnamese were banned AFTER the setup of vSRO. It was like, they made it, and then iSRO was like "You dude's have your own version, play that".

To set up independece, I believe that you do indeed have to get some sort of company to sponsor and buy it, I'm not sure if Joymax is selling the SRO game files for redistribution though yet. You should contact blizzard and see if they're willing to sponsor a free game. If they're gonna charge for it though, then it won't work. You might be thinking "Why won't it work?"
Well, if Blizzard makes it pay to play, then it won't be considered "SRO the free game", and iSRO won't ban US/Canadian/European(?) ip's, because it's not going to be "naeuSRO" (North American European Union SRO), it's going to be "World of Silkroad".

So if someone can get either Blizzard or another reputable company to sponsor SRO, then that'd be cool.

Blizzard or similar will license Silkroad when hell freezes over. Acclaim is the only company I can think of that would even consider investing in Silkroad, and they've already got 9Dragons.

1) If stating facts is racist, them i'm the KKK.

2) I never said anything about Youtube banning Turkish IP's, I just said "what happened on Youtube". What happened was that a racist video was placed on youtube and Turkey blocked it. Dont make inferences on my statements.

3) I'm pretty sure if we reported all the racist garbage about Turkish people going on in Silkroad, the Turkish government would do something similar about it ...

That sounds interesting, maybe we can get some kind petition going to get Acclaim to support Silkroad Online here in the states, Blizzard would be a 2nd option imo. If anyone can think of any other alternate solution of getting a company like Acclaim or any other mmorpg company in the states to support SRO would be awesome.

buy your own servers and ask JM in Korea? but as far as i know and heard, you have to buy the updates for the servers but its probably not true, and you must translate all the languages. might as well make a euroSRO

I have to agree, there's no reason Blizzard would ever attempt to buy the license for SRO or for that matter any other type of MMO game because Blizzard is a company that produces their own games and every game Blizzard supports with online play has been made by Blizzard or a division of Blizzard (example, Blizzard North and Diablo 2). There is not one game that Blizzard is maintaining that was made by any other company and I highly doubt they will ever change their policies to maintain games that aren't up to Blizzard's standard of quality, especially a game as problematic as SRO.

Like Cruor stated before, only companies that would even have a remote chance of even considering buying the SRO license would have to be Acclaim or OGPlanet or ijji because these are the companies that buys license for games produced by other companies and will then maintain them.

@OP: The only way other versions of SRO will be open is if a company buys the license to run the game.
