If I was joymax, I banned every high level that gets 1-90 in less than six months and 80-90 in 3 weeks. Most likely, they will come back, create a new character, buy silks, bot again. Wait until they high level then banned them again. hahahaha Ahhh profit. Then in the meanwhile, add more features to keep the game interesting.

Why does goldbots matter? Because they always crowds the server so I cannot even log in to play. Because of the bots I cannot enjoy the game the way I want. That is why I want them all banned.

Its not just bots that they detect... in fact I think its either clientless ones, and people who use Multiclients; specifically the Testosterone loader. My friend got all 4 of his accounts banned; he never botted, ever. All he did was use the loader and never bought silk, and the previous ban list all his characters appeared on there.

Did your friend ever use any of those mentioned above? That may have been the reason.

Well there's a difference between supporting the war and supporting the Warfighter. I don't particularly like that my country is at war, but if I am in a position to help the warfighter survive out there, and come home to his/her family safely, I will do that. I will support the warfighter.

I don't believe the smart people would have a "who cares" attitude about rape, murder, etc. Smart people may not actively go out and hunt down rapists, but if they see something happening, report it.

No, I'm not saying that by not actively protesting, that you WANT things to happen. The whole 'bot support' thing with Sharp just came out wrong. I didn't intend on accusing Sharp directly, just saying that I think the whole "who cares, let them all bot" attitude is a problem in general.

Way back when I started SRO over 2 years ago, and maybe even more so before then, most of the community shunned botters. Botters were 'trash'. You didn't see many of them. Now most people 'accept' them, and they run rampant on our servers clogging up all the slots, KSing in the good grinding areas, etc.

Venus seems to have the right idea here. Treat the botters as if they are not welcome, don't party with them, delevel them, make them murderer... Now, I haven't been playing Venus that long, but so far, I haven't noticed nearly as much of a bot problem there (player and gold) as I have on Venice. The player bots in Venus are not in power. They appear, to me anyway, to be a bit weak. That's what happens when the community as a whole "cares" about the bot problem and doesn't just shrug it off.

Have you played in many share ptys? I've made level 81 in less than 3 months. Many of my guild/unionmates are almost 90 in less than 6 months. All legits. Euro share parties = win.
