Hello SRF Members.

I just wanted to ask a question, that is when applied, may be better for Rouges to handle monsters while grinding.

Since Dagger Desperate offers 75% Reduction in Physical and Magical defense when used, also for Crossbow Extreme which offers 40% Reduction when used, the question is:

Would it be better if you take off ALL your gear, then switch on DD or CE, so that the 75% or 40% Reduction would be from your basic Phyiscal/Magical Defense, then when adding up your gear, their defense wont be reduced?

or does DD / CE only affect / reduce your defense only when you get hit by a monster / during combat ?

Please discuss, and inform. Thank you.

No matter what you have equipped, the DD/XE will reduce your stats of your maximum value.
Meaning, if I have 100 phy & 100 mag defense, then I use DD, I'll have 30 phy & 30 mag defense.

If I bless myself with 100 phy & 100 mag defense (meaning originally I'd have 200phy & 200mag) after DD I'd have 60 phy & 60 mag defense.

No matter what order you make (first DD then bless, or first bless then DD) it will always be the same.

Anyone know if you have all your gear and DD on, and SOMEONE ELSE blesses, does that bless get reduced?

someone should try it out, get screens without DD and with it.

or screen in DD w/o screen then one with.
