I entere a Guild and it seems that Guilds need "Guild Points" (GP), how do guild earn their guild points?

Also, it seems to me that Skill Points (SP) are transformed to GP, and it can be both automatic or manual contribution, so here comes the BIG question:

Does this means if I join a guild, my SP earning will be slowed down?

no, the sp you make shows in gp, 10sp is 10gp, your amount sp will be the same, its a good way to see how active your members are. If the person has 0 gp or like a old member I had in a guild half a year ago called LordPeta had 1gp for 2months, pretty much show that the person does no progress in the grinding

No.. that is just the number of GP you nave accumulated for the guild. For every 1 SP you get the guild gets 1GP. You can, however, convert some or all of your SP into GP by pressing that little heart button to the right of the GP meter.

Gp donated is simply the number of SP you've earned since joining the guild at a 1:1 ratio. Your SP is NOT taken away automatically. You CAN, however, donate your SP into GP, which means that you would get 1 GP for getting the 1 pt of SP initially and then 1 GP for donating that SP point to your guild for a total of 2 GP donated.

therefore it is essential to hve an active guild so the mor gp a guild has the better they are. As in lvl up their guild fast and usin t he gp to purchase guild items to help in wars etc.

in HKs (myguild) we got so much gp i just spend them on guild recall scrolls and i just randomly use it and everyone just teleports to me for fun.

just to piss off guildy is already worth it :) "OMG I WAS FIGHTING A GIANT"
